63 YEARS A TTFAN

In 2009 Honda were celebrating their 50 years involvement with the TT Races, so I climbed up into my loft to see if I could find items relevant to 1959 in my collection. In a small file was a selection of thin little books from the 1950s. They were supplements from the comics and magazines of the time and came with free pairs of specs. (see below)

Looking at some of the pictures of jet aeroplanes, film stars and London views, I felt that there could be a place on my new TT websites to produce and upload some 3D pictures while on the Isle of Man, not necessarily action shots but paddock shots and views.

I browsed on the internet for a free download to process the twin photographs which I have adapted slightly and went through e-bay to find a Fuji E550 camera to match one of my existing ones which has a large trigger button on top.

I tried my system out, firstly using existing 2D pictures. Then I took a series of photographs outdoors. I was pleased with the results and uploaded them, the 2d3d and the 3d. I now look forward to the 2010 TT where I will use my equipment to take more stills and possibly action photos.

I find it best to sit at arms length from the screen to see the photos properly in 3d.

Now here in 2010 I am trying a new system having refined it somewhat since last year.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SOURCE OF RED/CYAN AND YELLOW/BLUE 3D SPECS
